Dr. Ashish is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He Joined Prof. Leng’s research group at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in January 2021 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He completed his Doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India in 2020 after his masters from AcSIR, CSIR-Central Road Research Institute, India in 2014. His research interest includes (however not limited to) (a) performance based mechanistic characterization of asphalt binder and mixes, (b) Semi Flexible Pavement (SFP) based composite materials, (c) non-destructive methods for understanding pavement materials behavior, (d) bonding/debonding between aggregate and asphalt binder, and (e) development of sustainable pavement materials.
