Dr. Zihao Chen joined Prof. Leng’s group from November 2022 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Chen obtained his Ph.D. in Highway & Railway Engineering from Hunan University, China, in November 2022. His PhD research focuses on developing thermochromism- based cool pavement materials for pavement performance enhancement and heat island effect mitigation. His research interests also include multi-scale investigation of aging behaviors and mechanism of bituminous materials，and modelling and investigation of viscoelastic properties of bituminous materials.
