Dr. Zhifei Tan

Dr. Zhifei Tan joined Prof. Leng’s group in October 2015 as a Research Assistant. Later, he obtained his master and Ph.D. degrees from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in September 2018 and January 2023, respectively. His research focuses on multiscale characterization and modeling of road materials and structures. Currently, he is working as a research fellow in the group.
Dr. Ruijun Cao

Ruijun Cao is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Leng’s group at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her B.E. from Chang’an University in Transportation Construction & Equipment and her M.Sc. from King’s College London in Management with Engineering before eventually having Ph.D. at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2020. Dr. Zihao Chen

Dr. Zihao Chen joined Prof. Leng’s group from November 2022 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Chen obtained his Ph.D. in Highway & Railway Engineering from Hunan University, China, in November 2022. His PhD research focuses on developing thermochromism- based cool pavement materials for pavement performance enhancement and heat island effect mitigation. His research interests also include multi-scale investigation of aging behaviors and mechanism of bituminous materials,and modelling and investigati
